Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 January 2026

Taskmaster is operated by Rubytech LLC, registered in Georgia. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use Taskmaster or visit taskmaster.bot.

1. What We Collect

When you join the waitlist or sign up for Taskmaster, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Trade or profession

We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are handled by our payment processor.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To contact you about Taskmaster (setup calls, updates, support)
  • To send your WhatsApp assistant messages on your behalf
  • To send email confirmations when you join the waitlist
  • To improve Taskmaster based on how the service is used

3. Email Processing

Confirmation and notification emails are sent via SMTP using Nodemailer. Your email address is shared with our SMTP provider solely for the purpose of delivering these messages.

4. Your Pi Device

If you receive a Taskmaster Pi device, your business data (contacts, messages, schedules) is stored locally on your own device. This data does not pass through or reside on Taskmaster servers. You retain full control of the data on your Pi at all times.

5. Third Parties

We do not sell your data. The only third party that receives personal data is our SMTP email provider, which processes emails on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

6. Cookies

taskmaster.bot does not currently use analytics cookies or tracking scripts. If this changes, we will update this policy and notify you.

7. Data Retention

We keep your waitlist and account data for as long as our service relationship is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us, and we will remove it within 30 days.

8. UK GDPR

If you are in the United Kingdom, the following applies under the UK General Data Protection Regulation:

  • Lawful basis: We process your data based on legitimate interest (providing the service you requested) and your consent (when you submit the waitlist form).
  • Your rights: You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing and port your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time.
  • Complaints: You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data rights have been infringed.
